About Me

Hello! My name's Mariah Kanistanaux, the face behind Heart and Home. I'm a proud Montana native and truly believe this is the last best place. In 2020, my husband and I decided to put down some roots and we purchased our first home in the Flathead.  This sweet home became much more than a roof over our heads.  I took on projects with no experience, but with each new power tool my confidence and creativity grew! This house was the key for a hidden passion, one that would keep me up thinking about lighting, furniture, paint, and so on. I was on a mission to make our home feel like a place we never wanted to leave, a cozy haven for us and our dogs. Over the last four years, I've learned so much about design and how to make a room feel cohesive and inviting. I've put my whole heart into our home, and I would be honored to do the same for you! Together we'll create your version of a haven, a place you'll love coming back to every day.
